The Alpha Phi chapter of PLU will award two travel grants, each up to $250, for its membership every academic year. These travel grants will be in the form of reimbursements to cover expenses while at a professional meeting. The applicants must be making a scientific presentation (either oral or poster) and must not have received local chapter travel grant previously to be eligible for the award.
The candidates for the award will be shortlisted first and foremost on the basis of their contribution to the Alpha Phi chapter of PLU. This would include any volunteer work, previous executive board positions held, etc. The awardees will be selected from the shortlisted candidates by a committee of three faculty on the basis of their CV and scientific contribution.
Interested members must submit a paper application to PLU, which should include a copy of their presentation abstract, CV and the application form below. The deadlines will be announced shortly.
